Why won’t the Virtual World load?

The Virtual World may not load for you because you’re running an older version of Adobe Flash. To fix this problem, go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer to download and install the latest version. If the problem persists, reboot your machine and try again.

Why won’t parts of the game work?

Some parts of the game may not work for you because your screen’s resolution is not currently set correctly. To fix this issue on a Windows PC: Right click on the desktop and choose Properties (or Screen Resolution in Windows Vista and Windows 7); in the Display Properties window, drag the slider to 1024 x 786, and click Apply; now log out and log back into Arbopals.

Why is everything slow?

Parts of Arbopals might be running slowly for a few reasons. Check your Internet connection. If the game is still running slowly, try restarting your web browser and running Arbopals again. If the problem persists, reboot your computer and try again. If Arbopals is still running slowly, it may be because the servers are really busy. If that is the case, refresh the web page or try again later.

I made an account, but I can’t log in.

If you created an Arbopals account and still cannot log in, you may have forgotten your user name or password, or maybe you are typing one of them incorrectly. If this is the case, try refreshing the page and typing everything in again. If the problem still persists and you typed everything correctly, then the servers may be busy because of heavy use. Try logging in again later. If all else fails, create a new account.

Why isn’t there any video or sound in the Virtual World?

The video and sound in the Virtual World might not be working for a few reasons. The first is that you may be running an older version of Adobe Flash Player. Download the new version at http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer. If the problem persists, try restarting your web browser, and if there still is no video or sound, reboot your machine. You may also be using a browser such as Google Chrome or Opera that might not work well with Arbopals. Try switching to Firefox or Internet Explorer.

How do I know where I am?

Navigating in the Virtual World can seem quite cumbersome at times, but don’t worry. If you look at the bottom of the screen there will be a picture of a map. Clicking on this will bring up a map of the Virtual World. By holding your mouse over the place, you’ll notice that there are symbols in the bottom left corner. These are the games available in that certain part of the Virtual World. By clicking on the place on the map, you can be taken there immediately.

How can I get to games quicker?

When in different parts of the Virtual World, you will notice a little icon that looks like radar. By clicking on this, you will see a little localized map of the place you are in right now. By clicking on the screen in the direction of the arrows, you can see where you’re heading and what game is there that you can play. You can see what part of the Virtual World has which games by clicking on the map and holding your mouse over the place. In the bottom left corner, you will see symbols for the games available there.

How can I access a list of my items I own?

To see which items you own in your Tree Fort, simply click on the little tree-chair icon on the bottom right of the screen. This will bring up a list of all your items you own, and will allow you to place them anywhere you like in your Tree Fort.

How do I get back to my Tree Fort?

To get back to your Tree Fort from anywhere in the Virtual World, just click on the little icon in the bottom right of the screen that looks like a Tree Fort. It will take you right back to your fort.

How do I see all my character’s clothes?

To see all of your character’s clothes and accessories, simply click on the backpack icon in the bottom right of the screen. This will pull up a list of all of your items you own!
